use lower wattage bulb instead of 250W infrared?
I have a bathroom fan/light that says "250W R-40 infrared only". Is it
safe to use a lower wattage non-infrared bulb (incandescent or compact flourescent) instead? |

Absolutely, If the fixture can handle the heat of the infrared, anything
with less heat would be fine, in fact many heat lamp fixture manufacturers make a duel lamp unit, one for heat and one for light "Bucky" wrote in message ups.com...
