Is there an expansion tank on it? If it becomes waterlogged and the water cannot expand when heated, it can be forced ou the safety valve. Is the safety plumbed into a drain? If you cannot see the water, feel the tubing on the exit to see if it is hot. |

Check the safety valve. It may be leaking when the water is heated and expanding. If it is, it is either a bad safety vale of the expansion tank is shot. -- for full context, visit https://www.homeownershub.com/mainte...e-1188302-.htm |
