How much do you want to spend? You can dump a lot of money into an AR
and get nothing but bragging rights if you're not good enough to make
use of it. You have to take the Barbie Doll factor into account too. The
AR is modular so you can replace damn near everything except the lower
receiver in the case of an AR. The receiver is what has the serial
number and what legally is the firearm. Stocks, barrels, hand grips,
fire control groups, sights, and so forth can be changed and many do so.
