Default Generator on half choke

I have gen rhat will run on half choke can not fix till after irma can i run
it like this toll i can get repairs? Will it hurt it to run it power just went
out

As long as it's running smooth, I see no problems. Sounds like the
carb may be partly fouled. If enough gas goes through it, might
clean itself too. If you have any carb cleaner, running some of
that through might help too. I have a leaf blower that I have to
run on half choke most of the time too. It's been that way since
it was almost new. Old ones you could easily adjust, new ones, not
so much, so I use it that way and it's fine. Good luck down there.

It my need the choke if it is net getting enough fuel through the carb.
The choke allows it to get the proper fuel/air ratio. 'd run it.

and you can thank the EPA for not being able to adjust it and fix it correctly
