Default What's the performance difference between 15 inch, 16 inch and 17inch tires (all else equal)?

Assuming the same outside rolling diameter,
going from I.E. 15x6" wheels to 17x8" wheels:

- More stopping power
- More responsive steering

But:

- Less straight-line tracking
- Lower fuel economy

These can be overcome by:

1. Designing in more caster or
SAI for self-centering.

2. Reduce amount of power
steering boost.

3. Higher recommended cold tire
pressure.
