I tested both and it really helps if you extend the search phrase with something like "under $10”.

If you don't, the results don't really fit the "get me to $49" criteria, unless you consider a
$524 pen or $2100 monitor to be a filler/add-on item. ;-)

Jeff would be OK with that. As I said up near the top of this thread,
it is just a way to keep you shopping and get you in the habit of
buying stuff from Amazon.

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon, but I also check prices elsewhere.
Amazon comes out ahead 90% of the time.

That's been my impression. And I've found a few things that are cheaper
at Home Depot for example than Walmart. Gorilla tape was a dollar less.

My wife bought me a watch
though, and it was cheaper from other sources, Never buy from a typical
jewellery store.

I also have to wonder how long some mall stores will last.
