primer coat help for bathroom walls
Hi All
I am repainting my bathroom walls. I have removed the wallpaper and sanded the walls. Now I am going to paint 1 coat primer and then 2 coats paint. Question is, Do I need to sand the primer coat before I paint the color on the walls? Please help, for I am starting the primer right after I post this. Thanks in advance. -- |

No....apply paint after proper drying time for primer.

I have removed the wallpaper and sanded the walls.
People have had a lot of trouble painting over walls that were papered due to diffculty with paper adhesive removal. If you are absolutely sure that there are no adhesive traces, then the recommended primer/topcoat you chose will work just fine, sanding and repriming only those areas where there are some minor flaws. Good luck. Joe |
