Default Changing the oil in light bulbs

Troll, or just stupid as hell...

Last week at the office the really cute maintenance man was up on a
ladder working on the lights. I wanted to see if he would notice me,
so I asked him what he was doing. He told me he was changing the oil
in the lightbulbs to make them last longer, and he asked me if my
husband does that at home. I told him that I am not married, but he
never asked me out.

I am real disappointed that he never asked me out on a date, but there
are lots more cute guys in the world and it's his loss for not asking
me out.

Anyhow, I was thinking about what he said. I get the oil changed in
my car every spring, but I have never changed the oil in my
lightbulbs. I better get that done this spring. Who do I call to do
it, or is this something I have to do myself? Please tell me what to
do and how to change the oil. No one seems to know either. My boss
just laughed and told me to ask the maintenance man after work. Suzie
from work said she never had this done either, and the guy at Walmart
told me they do not sell lightbulb oil. Maybe I will call my
mechanic, but I think he only works on cars. I need help.

Blondie,

Bulbs are installed, swapped and maintained by a gardener. Even the lawn
maintenance guy can help you here. The problem is that changing the oil is
only part of the maintenance routine. Ask about trimming the wick and
someone will be over quickly with everything necessary.
Hope that helps.

I usually trim the wicks myself, but can't find left-handed wick-trimmers anywhere. Does anyone know of a supplier?
