Default US police officers surprise motorists with ice-cream

Motorists in the US town of in Halifax, Virginia received a pleasant
surprise after they were pulled over by local police officers Chief
Kevin Lands and Officer Brian Warner.

Footage of the prank, posted to Facebook by Chief Lands, shows the
officers stopping a visibly nervous driver and informing her that: "it
is against the law to drive on a hot day without an ice cream cone".

They then proceed to hand out cones of ice cream to the driver and the
passenger, both of whom immediately laugh with relief.

Chief Lands said on Facebook that they gave out a total of 16 cones that
day, in a heartwarming display of community outreach.

Not at all unusual. Departments have given out $100 bills to drivers
around Christmas time. Cops play basketball in cities and communities.
Cops and Shaq played with the kids on one street.

Police and Fire Fighters provide elders with smoke detectors, etc.
Free. Food drives and other sorts of things.

Kids hid in the house until Shaq showed up. The cop was Officer White.

Made their day.

Boston is also handing out free ice cream to kids. Lemonade stands can't be
passed. We had poster contests at schools and gave prizes. Pick up people
whom had fallen. Chase animals from houses. Gave money to people from out of
town. Christmas presents to needy. Rides to victims after accidents. Checked
on elderly lonely people, etc. Day to day deeds. Serve and protect.
