I know a few right in my neighborhood. The guy next door is on SSI for a "bad back" and he was planting trees for his Mom yesterday. In his defense, he is a drunk and a prescription drug addict but I am not sure that is a "disability" we should be subsidizing. |

I seem to remember something about addiction not being a valid excuse, when it's the result of a voluntary act (if he wasn't BORN addicted). -- Mark Lloyd http://notstupid.us/ "God is dead and no one cares" - Trent Reznor |

They are "disabled" from the symptoms of addiction, not the addiction itself ... or so it goes in real life. |
