Agree. Though, I suspect, if a user has updates set to automatic, the
update (KB3035583) will be pushed out again...and again

Probably, and that's another reason I have updates set to never check.
At least the next time I check I'll know what to look for and "Hide."

Bingo. Hide that update. I often do it so the update doesn't
install; nor ever see it again - at least until they try it again.

Worked, but gave me a scare. When it rebooted it looked like it was
not going to boot, but a second restart was perfect.

Worked first time here. No boot concerns.

However, it pushed the Win10 update out again. Just hide that update
(KB3035583) and it won't be a problem. And. Don't allow automatic
updates.

Those *******s are at it again!

There is yet another update, different number than KB3035583, that
adds their bull **** advertising to the system tray.

Probably the easiest way to not see their crap in the system tray is
to "Hide icon and notification." It doesn't remove it but at least I
don't see it any more.

This Windows bull **** is ALMOST as bad as that asshole at 1600
Pennsylvania Ave.

I followed the link above, removed the update and hid it on the next
push out. I updated today and have no new push for Win10.

I do have agree with that summation. We have two different kinds of
"assholes".
