The tires on mine say 30 psi max. Your mileage may vary.

I have no idea why you would bother, given that you are searching WITHOUT
the term you are most interested in: "PSI".

Come on! I never use "PSI" as a search term for tire pressure for a specific make/model of car, and I find what I need, why should I have to use it when searching for tire pressure for anything else? This is the U.S., what measure besides PSI do we use here? lol

I don't know either. You should be looking for that information right on the sidewalls of the tires at issue.

In fact, it seems to me that most of the responses you've gotten in here that gave you an answer were from people that got that information by looking at the tires on their own hand trucks.

So, really this thread should have been entitled "How do I find out what pressure to inflate my hand truck tires to?"

The tires should be firm and should not sag much when the load is put on
them. Just like all tires.

The air pressure in PSI x the number of square inches of tire on the
pavement should equal the weight of the load and the hand truck.

Home Depot Purchase
Milwaukee D Handle Hand Truck $54.97 sku 168 674
easily goes up over steps, rolls up to 800 pounds, I've had at least 500
pounds on it once, but at the time the tires weren't fully pressurized, so
they went flat! on the ground.
The information came from the 800 number on the label of the two wheel
truck, called directly and was told. I put the information in a place for
future rerieval, so now of course can't find it!

If they have NO PRESSURE molded into the sidewall, they must be solid
rubber.

I had a tricycle with tires like that. I think it was for safety. If
they'd been unevenly inflated, it could have been unstable in hard
cornering. My mechanic told me not to inflate them at all. After I
learned to read, I understood why he said that.

I appreciate your saying this. I had used the word tires, hand truck
tires. I'll admit, it's interesting that you only had to change the
two occurences of tires.

I found the movie G. Morgan meant. The sergeant tells the career

The soldier doesn't understand the criticism. He says he has always

Solid-rubber hand-truck tires aren't really solid rubber. The valves
must be where they filled them with polyurethane foam at the factory.

If you remove them, you should probably cover the holes with duck tape
to keep carpenter bees from infesting the polyurethane.

MTD said 10-14 PSI was right for its riding mowers. I doubt any
tires can't take that pressure.

One day, somebody will invent a real search engine. Meanwhile:

Don't include unnecessary words, like "proper".

Try "hand cart", "lawnmower", or "garden" instead of "hand truck".

Similarly, try "inflation" instead of "pressure".

Searching by tire size may help, as may adding "PSI" or "KPa"

Sometimes an image search returns better results.

I'll bet the old Sears catalogs had the information.

Huh?
Car tire pressure? It's on the car door pillar and on the tire itself.

I expect that MTD may recommend an expecially low tire pressure on it's riding mowers to maximize the foot print of the tires and thereby minimize the pressure they exert on the ground below them. My understanding is that walking on grass after a heavy rain can kill the grass because the pressure exerted underfoot can compress the wet soil and drown the grass roots.

Every pneumatic tire I've ever had the pleasure of meeting face-to-face has always had a recommended inflation pressure or pressure range molded into it's sidewall. I'm surprised that thekmanrocks says that his tires don't have that information on them.
