My husband was in my face and threatening me into a corner. A skillet was on the counter and I grabbed it and slammed his arm. He turned around and walked away. He never bothered me like that again. A few years later he had cancer and died. I'm _well_ aware of a flying skillet, traveling down the hall at near warp speed. A second cousin tied her ol' man down on the bed and beat him with a cast iron frying pan after he came home drunk. She served the military as a Marine. Nicest person in the world, but took no **** from folks when provoked. |
