Where to get low/wide medicine cabinet?
Fixing up a 1950s prefab house. Recessed medicine cabinet was rusted
beyond repair, and space limitations would make a surface-mount unattractive. Rough opening is about 19.5" high and 29.5" wide. Can anyone please suggest a source for a recessed unit to fit in this space? Thanks very much! |

Have any friends that do woodworking? ww I was thinking sort of the same thing. If the door is decent, it would talke little effort to make a back and four sides -- doesn't have to be rabbited or anything -- and provision for shelves. It would impress the OP's friends. It could be even bigger than the door maybe, the maximum size that will fit in the space. Even a new door wouldn't be so hard to make. Coudl be attached after the rest was in place. |
