Made in USA
Had a surprise today.
Went to a local flea market (Laney College, downtown Oakland) looking for old tools. Came across a Chinese fellow selling tools, among other stuff. All of which were--get this--made in the U.S.A! Good quality ****, too: Nicholson files, Mayhew punches, Xcelite cutters and such. All new and all made here. Most of the other new stuff there (tools, anyhow) was a mix of Chinese and American-made, with most of it being the former. -- The current state of literacy in our advanced civilization: yo wassup nuttin wan2 hang k where here k l8tr by - from Usenet (what's *that*?) |
