I'd have no problem with private security guards showing up instead of
the police. Just like I have no problem with a volunteer fire
department
or first aid squad arriving when I call them. It's incredible to me
that
some people put blind faith in a govt that is full of waste,
incompetence
and failures. Take a look at the US Post Office and Amtrak as two
good examples. As far as competence to run healthcare, you need
look no further than the VA, Medicare and Medicaid. They can't even
run Arlington Cemetary and put bodies of American heros in the right
place, as evidenced by that recent scandal.

60 Minutes did a story on how many of the drug dealers in Fl now run
Medicare fraud schemes instead, because it's just as profitable,
easier, and the penalties are less. They estimated 30% of the claims
are fraud. The fraud is so widespread that Obama and the Dems are
promising to pay several hundred billion of the new govt run healtcare
by straightening out Medicare and Medicaid, which they now run.
In the private sector, you'd get fired for that request. In the
govt, it's
business as usual, and some people believe it.

So, sorry, but I don't believe the private sector, which has
demonstrated
it's ability to give us everything from the computer to food, is
suddenly
inferior to the govt.

would have to be euthanized immediately. Politicians look out for #1

First name on that list is Alan Hevesi, former NY comptroller, ie a

Also on the list is former Senator Ted Stevens, former Ilinois
Governor Rod Blagojevich,
