The U.S. Justice Dept. today announced sweeping condemnations of the
internet site "Homeowner's Hub," citing flagrant violations of copyright laws in its reposting of content originally contributed to usenet. Fines could range up to $5000 per violation, which could easily total millions of dollars. When reached for comment, the site's owners could only manage to squeal like pigs. |

The money goes to the government, and probably won't even begin to pay what it cost to do the investigation. That leaves the taxpayers holding the bag for the rest. |

I just went there for the first time, all that site does is Mirror us for bucks. In that case all the crap we could post about HOH will be their page one. But the court ruling will take care of them |

We could agree to give only bad advice to HH posters? Eventually the
word would get out. I think all HH posters should run with scissors, eat uncooked hamburger, and fly to Africa to pat mountain lions on the butt. -- Christopher A. Our favorite succo site is now homeowners hub. There are other sites that repeat a.h.r, with posts from their sites. As far as I know only homeowners hub posts back here. Some of the sites identify a.h.r as the source. -- bud-- |
