Since a Cuban Physician can make more money working as a waiter
at one of the special foreign tourist hotels, is it beyond the
possibility that the doctors are botching Castro's medical care

I think it's unfair to imply that the Cuban doctors are less than
competent in their treatment of Castro. The accusation is that they
didn't perform a colostomy when they should have. They weren't there
at the time to make the judgement call. For example, did they take
into account the fact that Castro has his head up his ass?
