Repairs of the future
Here's a video from BMW on "augmented" reality auto repair, but it would
work for home repairs too. http://www.popsci.com/scitech/articl...help-mechanics It's not TOO reality - you'll notice the voice-over instructions say: "Loosen two screws..." not "Loosen the two *&%** screws!" |

It's not TOO reality - you'll notice the voice-over instructions say: "Loosen two screws..." not "Loosen the two *&%** screws!" This will be a boon to auto repair shops everywhere. Even today there are many jobs in the shop that are the result of male ego, poor instructions or whatever. This will encourage the backyard tinkerer to undertake jobs that are way beyond the available talent, time, tools and space. Todays cars are simply way too complex to encourage much more than simple maintenance chores. The concept would have been just fine 30 years ago. My $0.02. Joe |
