Try posting on alt.hvac. They are knowledgeable and really go out of their
way to help people who are not in the trade to troubleshoot and fix air
conditioners and other hvac equipment.

There's a usenet group for home AC repairs. Used to be group
name "alt.hvac" if I remember. Post your questions there.

Some AC problems are home repairs, others need a trained
tech. Please post more details.
