Default Gutter cleaning robot

Anyone think this thing could actually work? Made by a company that makes
those "carpet vacuuming robots". Apparently, they also make things like bomb
disposal robots. Check out the video link on this page. Their demo gutter
looks pretty tame compared with some of mine, several of which are LOADED
with TONS of wet pine needles and are located at nose-bleed heights! I'd
spring for this gizmo in a second if I thought it would really do the job.

I doubt it does much

The gutter helmet approach appears the best solution.

screens still allow needles and small debris to fill gutters. theres
just no easy way, unless one is willing to cut down all their trees.

I have heard it will not remove dirt or wet rotting leaves, so if you
use it every month it might work good

Take a look at what the guy pulls out with his hand: a sloppy, wet,
rotten mess - and then look at what the iRobot tosses: nice dry leaves
and pine cones. How come they don't show it cleaning a *real* gutter?

Even if the device *was* able to clean the sloppy mess (and I doubt it
could) I wouldn't want the debris splashed all over my house and
windows.

I wouldn't waste my time or money.
