Useful for spreading Fear, Uncertainity, and Doubt.

I've never heard of anyone who developed a physical malady by dealing with a
commercial asbestos product. Not insulation, not brake pads, not floor
tiles, not artificial parakeets, nothing.

I have. There were lots of sick folks (mostly dead now) from asbestos
that was used as insulation. Those are people who were exposed to
airborne particles on a frequent basis such as in a ship yard or
pipe/duct insulators. The sad part is that the manufacturer knew about
the effects. Asbestos is a good material and they could have used proper
precautions but Manville chose to be greedy and not tell anyone.
