Default homeowner

I have removed carpet from a slab on grade (no water problems). I would
like to ceramic tile the floor. I have adhesive on the floor and the floor
has undulations. What is the best way to prepare the floor to receive the
new tile floor.
I do not have the space to add height to the floor.
