old battery operated smoke dectecter FYI
A good use for one before you throw it out is to salvage the horn from it
and mount it in a radio shack handy box with a 9v battery . Install a couple of test leads w/ alligator clips and you have your self a nice continuity tester. I use mine all the time for testing switches, to tracing down wires, checking for broken wires ect |
