GE Electric Drop in Range-Model JMS07001AD
When the baking element in the oven burns through at a point, will that keep the range top elements from turning on at all? Will replacing the baking element make the top and oven elements to now work? Is there a reset botton/switch that has to be set. Thanks

Thanks -- brickhouse Hi, When the baking element in the oven burns through at a point, will that keep the range top elements from turning on at all? Not normally....it is possible that one of the house fuses let go when the element shorted and let go. Will replacing the baking element make the top and oven elements to now work? So far it -sounds- like something else let go at the same time as the element did. Is there a reset botton/switch that has to be set Not in the appliance. jeff.
