Default Drywall in attic bath

I'm planning to drywall a new attic bathroom. There are a few problems, the
first of which is the full 4x8 sheet will not fit thru the
doorways/stairways etc. What would be the best way to precut the drywall
so it will 1.] fit thru the stairway and 2.] be in some decent condition
to minimize taping joints?

What I have done is fold it in half and moved it into the confined
space. I score the drywall on the back and then break it in half - not
all the way through though. Be sure not to twist the sheet as you are
carrying it in as you might tear the finished paper surface. I then
add some additional support to the wall where the crack will hit,
basically ensuring the fire blocking falls on the crack. Once in the
room, open the sheet back up. Screw the drywall in place, add a couple
screws in the vicinity of the crack into the fire blocking and you will
not notice the cut seam

Thanks, Newfie. The bathroom is only the first drywalling project in the
attic, so I'll use your tips to finish the main room walls, ceiling etc.
Because its the attic there are probably no surfaces which will take a
full sheet anyway; hip walls and angled ceilings are what I'm walling.
