Wate Pipes
I have a very small leak in a joint where a PVC waste pipe joins into a cast
iron sewer line. Is there anything like plumber's epoxy which will seal the leak between two dissimilar materials. I appreciate the help. Thanks. rf |

Wate Pipes
Ray,
They make a rubber boot with compression clamps on both ends for this purpose. You'll need to know the diameter of both ends and to use this you'll have to disconnect it, but PVC is easy to patch back together. I know that Lowes and Home Depot both sell these in the plumbing dept. J Ray wrote: I have a very small leak in a joint where a PVC waste pipe joins into a cast iron sewer line.
