handle for older solid wood door
I have a half dozen or so solid wood doors in my house that measure 1
1/4". Will a standard Bed & Bath type set fit this width? At the moment there are different style handles on all the doors, all with a filler piece of wood on the inside of the door. The filler piece is ugly and I want to remove them as I refinish the doors. I just don't know if current sets are more flexible in their sizing than they were when these handles were installed. If need be I will just have to make some nicer looking filler pieces, I'd just rather not have to. TIA Ian |
