New Door Smell
I had a new fiberglass front door installed last year. Drilled a hole for a
peep hole. Ever since then There is a smell sort of like nail polish remover coming from the door. How can I fix this? Dave |

Seal the raw fiberglass , remove peep hole and brush on something to
seal it, I would think a few coats of any oil paint should do it. |

Dave You could seal the hole or just wait long enough. Might be a long weight. I suggest silicone to seal the hole. I suspect the door is filled with foam insulation and that you are smelling that. -- Joseph Meehan Dia duit |
