Default top-down/bottom-up wood blinds exist?

I have done some research for top-down/bottom-up wood blinds, but it
seems like that option is only available on the cellular type blinds.
Why is that? Is there some sort of technical impossiblity which
prevents them from ever being made? If anyone knows where I can
purchase them, please respond. Thanks.
