Default home design software

looking for software that'll run on my OS X iMac, in the lower price
range, to model a few home improvement ideas. Would like to see 3D
renders . . .

suggestions?

I don't know if there is a Mac version, but I was pretty satisfied with
3D Home Architect 4 when I did the layout design for our remodel. It was
pretty easy to use and it did 3D renderings pretty well.
