Default 3 family house question

Can anyone give me a rough estimate on what it would cost to gut a 3
family house, install new plumbing and electrical? Each floor is
approximately 850 Square Feet.

Thanks in advance.

How far is up? Way too many variables w/ seeing the property, but assuming
the basic structure is sound, and you don't have to replace the utility
feeds outside the house footprint, figure at least 50-75 bucks per square
foot. New runs at least 125 bucks per square foot for entry level around
here, so half to two thirds is a SWAG at best. Best bet is to pay a
competent GC that does rehabs to give you a non-guaranteed walk-through
estimate. The couple hundred for an expert consult would be well worth it.
If you are considering buying the place, the current owner should have no
problem with this. If they do, run away from the deal- they are trying to
hide worse problems.
