On my Mixet shower faucet, the temperature control handle and the
volume control knob have become difficult to turn. How can I remove dirt and mineral deposits and apply a lubricant so the controls are easier to turn? What products should I use and how do I apply them? |

The first question I would have is do you have a water softener? I am assuming not with the nature of your question. I would suspect that you have greater issues with your plumbing because of the hard water if your now seeing the effects on the outside of your fixtures. The problem will only get worse. For now I would try some vinegar on the control then I would invest in a quality softener. I offer the most efficient effective softener. Good luck. |
