The ice from our refrigerator always tasted less than great. So I
bought a Culligan IC-100 for about $13 and installed it this past weekend. It took about 30 minutes to finish. I took pictures of the process and wrote up a quick guide. Here's the page - http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/C...allation-Guide I'm really glad that I did this since now the ice tastes great and looks crystal clear. It was a pain having to buy ice at the grocery store before every get together. Cheers, Paul Michaels Fort Lauderdale, FL |

I'm on the other coast of Florida, near Clearwater (the name is deceiving, huh?). I have an ice maker in my refrigerator also. The problem is the water lines are on one side of the kitchen, under the sink, and the refrigerator is on the other side of the kitchen. The kitchen was designed with an alcove in it for the refrigerator. How do you get your water supply to the refrigerator? I installed a 3 stage Whirlpool reverse osmosis system under the sink and fill ice trays with the water from the reverse osmosis system. Like your ice cubes, ours are crystal clear also, but it would be nice to be able to get the water line connected to the refrigerator. |
