It has started. Caught a blurb on the news last night that some
producers are decreasign the amount of product in the package. Specifically mentioned was cereal putting an ounce or two less per box but keeping the same size box. Nothing new, that has been going on as long as I can recall. Still seems dishonest to me though. Another trick back when was when paper towels went from about a square sheet to a rectangular one. Decreased the number of sheets per roll and thus caused buyers to buy more rolls. Harry K |
