Default Kitcen Sink Clogged: Auger?

Heavy duty drain opener chemicals do not work, nor does plunging. The
trap under the sink has nothing to unscrew to let me get in and clear
it out.

Should I buy an auger and go in through the top of the sink's drain?

Thank you.

I'd give plunging another attempt. You need plenty of liquid in the
sink and you also need to block off the vent with a wet rag or duct
tape so you are not just plunging back into the vent. If it's normal
kitchen waste, that will do it.
