Default Looking for a good, affordable contractor in Sacramento, CA

We are in the process of replacing the flooring in our 1930's home in
Sacramento, CA. We plan on using hardwood in two front rooms but have
hit a snag. One of the rooms is terribly un-even, and drops off (up to
1") significantly from the center of the room to the wall. We are
do-it-yourselfers, but think this may be beyond our capabilities (and
desire) to fix ourselves. We are looking for a good, affordable
contractor in the Sacramento area to fix this for us. Does anyone have
any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.
