Vinyl, underlayment and concrete floors
I've been asked to help lay a large piece of scrap vinyl flooring in a
basement with a slab concrete floor. The floor is not too old, in good shape and dry. The problem I have is, a lot of DIY websites are happy to describe the process for a wood floor and mention their instructions include concrete floors, then merrily go on to tell you to staple the underlayment onto the floor. I don't think I can just staple into concrete!?!?! Has anyone done this, any tip? HF |
