Default Garage door opener problem

I have a garage door opener, Sears 1/2 hp. with a problem. I have had
all kinds of off and on problems, now the trolley is as far as it can
go toward the motor. The Door is to high and the chair is sagging yet I
can not move the trolley. IT seems to be stuck, Any help in releasing
this trolley so I can set the adjustments again. thanks in advance.

Unplug the opener, spin the motor shaft w/ a pair of pliers to release
the pressure. Sounds like the opener is running through the up limit.
The plastic pieces will strip out & you should change the limit
assembly if the door won't consistently stop in the same place.
