Dimming 10w Kitchen Unit Downlighters????
Dilema
Is it possible to use a non standard dimmer switch for proprietary 10w Kitchen Unit Downlighters that are almost always situated under the wall mounted units. Fitting a normal dimmer made them strobe (quickly switched them off before any damage and they work with normal light switch). I now understand that a dimmer has a minimum rating which precludes all the dimmers I've sourced. I am told that Caravan or Boating dimmers could be a possiblity, but have had no luck. Can't imagine them coming in brushed steel finish even. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance Jamie |
