First off, to answer your second question, audio is not part of S-video or component video; it's carried separately. Second, to answer your first question, if I'm not mistaken, this is what modern TVs used "comb filters" for, which, I'm pretty sure, are very complicated devices. There are probably converters out there, but it'd be a big undertaking to build one yourself. What is the purpose for your wanting to do this. Im only asking because there would really be no advantage in the outcome of the picture. Unless you were using an upconverter, and manipulating the signal. In which case you have quite a project. Just curious about what you are trying to hookup. Good luck! |
