Default Who made this IC?

It says

TESLA A18
MH74755

But there doesn't seem to be a manufacturer by that name on most of the IC
databases around. Are they obsolete?

Mfg could be TESLA. See for example:

http://www.electronicpool.de/list/in...L501CJ_TI.html

we used the TL501 (obsoleted by TI). Company may be gone by now, it only
made replacement chips AFAIK. They used the same type numbers as the
original mfg.

TESLA is/was a (IIRC) Hungarian chip (and consumer electronics)
manufacturer.
