Hi,

I have a lightning detector from STORMWISE. The detector puts out a
pulsed DC signal.The recieve end is a led or piezo alarm for each
lightning stroke. I want to display the signal useing a LM3914 Dot/Bar
display driver to 10 leds.

Do I need to add anything between the detector & the LM3914 to change
the pulsed DC?

I was told to put a 1:1 isolation transformer between-but dont know if
this is correct.

Any help would great.
