ATSC portable TV receivers?
NTSC is going away in about a year. Where are the ATSC portable receivers.
Seems like it would be a decent market and an easy to design product ... just combine a portable DVD player with the ATSC converter/demodulator chips. Heck, I can turn a notebook computer into an ATSC receiver with a cheap USB converter. |

ATSC portable TV receivers?
Manufacturers are generally looking at the higher profit marker currently,
presumably the cost of producing a inexpensive lcd version with ATSC.DCAM internal tuners will come as they assume there is a viable market niche for them. CRT based teles will eventually become things of fond memories. "Charles" wrote in message . .. NTSC is going away in about a year. Where are the ATSC portable receivers. ATSC portable TV receivers?
Radio Shack has had digital-ready portable TVs for months. The one I
have is an Accurian 7" portable TV with a built-in digital tuner. Model number 16-454 if you want to search for it on the website. |
