Default Sanddisk SD Card Voltage

Hi,
am very new to electronics and have little knowledge, am really
software engineer, Im trying to hook up a SD card to a
microcontroller, the specification for sanddisk SD Cards states that a
operational voltage of 3.1 to 3.5 voltage is requires, now my board
will (other components) will be using 3.0 volts, would a 0.1 under
voltage pose a problem, do I require another power source for the sd
card? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time

Richard.
