Hello
did anybody encounter problems with Chipsource ? I've purchased components which were almost all defective (98% of 500 parts). The problem is that they have shipped the parts 3 weeks before the scheduled date, and the time I tested them the guarantee had expired (1 month only !). The guarantee terms don't appear in their documents (offer, invoice,...). They of course refuse any return or refund. what is it possible to do ? Denis |

I don't know chipsource, but. 1 work your way up the chain of command - the guy on the end of the phone isn't allowed to refund you after the cut-off date his boss may be. 2 seek legal advice - you may have rigthts beyond those granted you in their guarantee, Bye. isn't allowed to refund you after the cut-off date his boss may be. I agree. i talked to a manager. He refuses any arrangement. seek legal advice - you may have rigthts beyond those granted you in their guarantee, Chipsource knows that a legal solution is complicated from a foreign country. Sueing them for only around 700$ could cost tenfold this amount. Thanks anyway for your answer. I just wanted to warn purchasers to be careful with the guarantee terms of Chipsource. They have disposed of an old stock of defective parts with us, but other "victims" could be more careful. Denis |
