Voltage Gain
I know the voltage gain for transitor amplifiers is calculated by Vout / Vin
or the gradient of the linear region of a Vout vs. Vin graph but is this just the magnitude? OR does it have a negative value if it is an inverting amplifier? Thanks |

"leigh" I know the voltage gain for transitor amplifiers is calculated by Vout / Vin or the gradient of the linear region of a Vout vs. Vin graph but is this just the magnitude? OR does it have a negative value if it is an inverting amplifier? ** Basically - gain is purely magnitude. But hey - some like it both ways !!! ........... Phil |
