VCR/DVD Recorders
I’m looking to transfer my old VHS home videos to DVD. Anyone
have opinions on these Dual-Deck VHS VCR/DVD Recorders? Thanks TP |

Combo units are rarely a good idea except for granny. What do you do when one half craps out? How do you splice a Macrovision eliminator in? N |
You are much better off to do it as separates. There are much less problems,
and the units last longer. The consideration is that there is very little service support for these, when the warranty is finished. They are considered "throw-away" products. If they are separates, and one fails, you can change the one unit, instead of a more expensive dual unit. If you have separate units, you can insert a video processor in between them to be able to control the video set-ups. -- Jerry G. ====== "TP" wrote in message ... Remember, Go-Video machines manufactured after a certain date will NOT copy
protected tapes. Mark Z. "TP" wrote in message ... I’m looking to transfer my old VHS home videos to DVD. Anyone have opinions on these Dual-Deck VHS VCR/DVD Recorders? Thanks TP |
