Default HP 8601A Information Needed

Does anyone have a manual for the HP 8601A RF generator?

I need the resistor values for the RF attenuator section for a friend who
toasted his unit. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Mike,I sent a TIF of page 8-21 attenuator. Let me know if that is what
you need. Manual is large!

Mike:

Tell him before he spends a lot of time on that unit, to check the video amplifier used on the output which drives the
attenuator. If it is dead, bad news. Those were EXPENSIVE 30 years ago, when that unit was new, and now are likely
unobtanium. But, every 8601 I have seen with a toasted attenuator also has a blown output amplifier.

The attglobal.net address is a SPAM trap. Please change that part to: attdotbiz properly formatted.
