Default Monitor Controls Dead the Only Problem

I have a Samsung D753df Monitor from three years ago. It works fine
has good color but excerpt for the on/off switch the controls are
frozen or dead. Is the a job for a professional or can it be done by
home hackers and amatuers?
Any idea of what the problem is

Default

There may be an opened connection, or bad connector, or cold solder
connection, or the panel is defective, or a defect in the uPC area.

If you are not experienced in TV and monitor service, you should give it out
for service. Samsung will only supply service information and parts to their
authorized service centres only.
